Key Features

Wireless ECG acquisition designed for wearable HRV monitoring

The Biocom 6500 Bluetooth ECG Recorder is designed to provide reliable ECG signal acquisition for professional HRV analysis in a wearable form factor. Using Bluetooth connectivity, the device transmits ECG data to the Biocom mobile bridge app running on an Android phone, which then forwards the data to Biocom HRV software on a Windows PC.

Key capabilities include:

Wearable Bluetooth ECG recorder

Compact wearable device designed to capture ECG signals for heart rate variability analysis.

Accurate heartbeat detection for HRV analysis

Optimized for reliable R-wave detection required for precise HRV measurements.

Wireless ECG transmission

Streams ECG data via Bluetooth to the Biocom mobile bridge app running on an Android phone.

Comfortable wearable design

Lightweight form factor supports electrode or chest-strap configurations for convenient recording.

Integration with Biocom HRV systems

Works with the Biocom mobile bridge application to transmit ECG data to Biocom HRV software running on a Windows PC.

Mobile Bridge App for Bluetooth ECG

Android app used to transmit real-time ECG data from the Biocom 6500 sensor to the Windows software

When the Biocom 6500 Bluetooth ECG sensor is selected, the system uses a dedicated Android app on a mobile phone as a communication bridge between the wearable ECG sensor and the Heart Rhythm Scanner Professional Edition software running on a Windows computer. The mobile app receives the real-time ECG signal from the Bluetooth sensor and transmits it wirelessly to the desktop software over a TCP connection.

The Biocom 6500 sensor was originally designed to operate with mobile devices. Therefore, a dedicated Android app is used on a mobile phone to capture the real-time ECG signal and transmit it to the Heart Rhythm Scanner Professional Edition software running on a Windows computer. The Windows software receives the ECG data stream in real time and uses it for test recording, heartbeat detection, and HRV analysis in the same way as with a directly connected ECG device. An Android phone with the bridge app preinstalled is included with the system.

What's Included

Everything required to record wireless ECG signals for HRV analysis.

The Biocom 6500 package includes the wearable ECG recorder and supporting components required to acquire ECG signals and transmit them to Biocom HRV software. The system uses a dedicated Android phone with the Biocom mobile bridge app to receive ECG data from the sensor and forward it to the Windows-based HRV software.
